This is truly one of those sad situations where history was lost. I remember around 2014 or so, taking a small tour with the Bergen County historical society leader and he said this is the most under represented Revolutionary spot in the United States, considering its historical significance. After World War II, everyone just wanted to move on and many of the historical buildings throughout Hackensack were taken down. This article in the Bergen Evening Record June 9, 1950 celebrating the half century mark of the 20th century tells the story of the building being “recently torn down”, now almost 70 years later,
